A New look for The Chad
April 24, 2006 5:34 pmI woke up today, a day that was wonderful outside. 70 degrees, sunny, no wind. Great day to be alive. Unless you’re me. I woke up sick (I’M BLAMING YOU TIMMY! J/K). So, unable to get out and enjoy the day, and with no playoff games important to me on tv today (I really only care about watching the Red Wings and Pistons), I used this time to give the place a new look. I even gave a little upgrade to The Chad’s Movie Reviews.
I found an amazing little program that lets me do all my wordpress tweaks offline, which is SOOOOOO nice now. I can actually play with the styles and themes without fucking anything up on the actual site. And boy, did I fuck up a lot today. But, after a while, it all came together and seems to have worked out alright.
I’m still pretty pissed off about yesterday. The Red Wings fricking lost! What the hell is up with that? Oh well, we’ll go to Edmonton, knowing that The Great Wings have the best Road Record in NHL history this year. At least I got to watch two other teams WIN this weekend. The Detroit Tigers pulled out a sweep in thier series against the Seattle Mariners this weekend, an in Seattle no less. I was pretty pissed when I found out the Tigers were gonna be in Seattle this weekend, becouse if I’d have known ahead of time, I propably would have been up there for at least one of the games (all of them if I could’ve found someone to take care of the dogs). And moving on to the Detroit Pistons. Bad Ass. What can you say about the Pistons, pretty much demoralizing the Bucks in the Fourth quarter (but not as bad as what San Antonio did to the Kings).
And speaking of the Spurs Vs. Kings series, I just have to say one quick thing: FUCK YOU RON ARTEST! I have hated him for so long. Even more so a year and a half ago when he was involved in the Detroit “Brawl”. Fuckin’ asshole. I wish he would have gotten more than just a one game suspension for hitting Manu. But hey , how much can you suspend a guy? I mean, he did get kicked out for damn near an entire season. Lets just kick his ass out for life. That’d be good.

If it makes you feel any better, my cold is about 95% gone. I guess taking nyquil/aleve cold and sinus/half gallon of orange juice a day, and vitamin c pills everyday really works.
Screw you buddy. The only part of that crap that makes me feel any better is the fact that you are not at 100%. Yeah, I got my own combo of drugs and fluids going on. Just waiting until after the Colbert Report to take the NyQuil, becouse as Denis Leary says: “Don’t make any fucking plans. nyQuil nyQuil nyQuil, WE LOVE YOU, YOU GIANT FUCKING Q!”
Good shit, looks nice.
And fuck you for having nice weather. It’s fucking snowing here…yes, I’m not kidding and will be posting a video of it tomorrow because I need to head back to the bathroom to hug my toilet. I’m not kidding about that either.
