My month as the “area coordinator” at work is over. Thank God. If it wasn’t for the two camping trips, I would have probably started hurting people by now, especially that little bitch micro-manager intern asshole that subbed for my manager one night last week. I wanted to shove a silicon wafer up his ass sideways. But, all that crap is over (at least for another 5 months). I still have to be a backup, but that’s ok.

I got volunteered to work on the 4th of July. Yeah, not really all that happy, but, I’ll run my tiny area and take some nice, long breaks. I might even have a trainee that night. 

My bank sent me a new, “upgraded” debit card the other day. It has a new number. That pisses me off. I had that shit memorized and now I gotta learn a new long ass number all over again, dates and security code as well. And for what? So I can get a shiny gold card instead of a simple blue one, and gives me the usual BS that a credit card might give (double shitty warranty, shit like that). Thanks. Fuckers.

I plan on trying to get a new(er) car this weekend. I’m getting tired of the old Celica/Supra MK2. It’s an awesome car, but, the miles are definitely racking up (230k), and I get nervous if I take it on long trips. I want to go to Seattle next week, and I really don’t wanna take that. I’m probably gonna get a small truck, or a mid-size SUV (blazer size), just something that I can pack all of my camping shit into, along with the dogs and maybe a passenger or two.

I just finished watching the new show on Spike, Blade:The Series. Now, I love the Movie. Blade kicked ass. the sequeals, well, whatever. I’m never a fan of a spinoff of anything, but the show was ok. It took a different path than the movies, and I’m rather happy about that. The only thing I don’t care for is the creation of a sort-of blade clone. Yeah, come on.

Update: I took a couple X-men tests this week. I’m displaying the correct one..

Yep. Back from camping. Nothing totally special. Pat decided not to go, which kinda sucked, and Sarah and Ed only stayed the first night. But we all still had fun, even with the ant invasion we had on the second night. And once again, I didn’t catch shit out on the lake. We even went down on the dock at dusk, and THE FISH WERE JUMPING OUT OF THE FUCKING WATER! But NOOOOO! They wouldn’t touch my tasty nightcrawlers (or powerbait). Fuckers. They didn’t even want Neds Chicken Liver (yeah, WTF?).

There were a couple cool things that happened. I taught Sarah how to use an axe and chop firewood. And the other, The Hosts at the site not only remembered me, but thanked me for leaving our site from last time completely clean. While I am not a fan of camera’s (evidence), I did have to take a picture of Sarah getting ready to split some firewood. I also managed to sneak in a short video…..

 I took both of the dogs this time. Other than them getting their chains crossed about once an hour, they did pretty good. Especially Fezgig, who is a tiny rat dog and has never been outside for more than an hour at a time, and only then at the dog park. He still didn’t care for the water, as I tossed him out a couple feet from the shore and he came right back, and Mark’s nephew even took him out to his waist deep and Fezgig still freaked and irradically swam back to shore. I will probably have some more pictures in a couple days, I’m just waiting for Ned to send them to me.

Going camping again Thursday. Kickass. Should be pretty cool, even though were going for a day less than last time. Ryan and his girl cant go this time, but we do actually have a few others going this time. Rany’s going again, and a few others on my team, Sarah and her bf are following us down. Mark and his nephew , along with Ned and his girl, are coming on Friday. And I will be taking both dogs this time. Should be interesting. I just hope I dont have to sit there and freeze my ass off this time.

My car broke. It actually broke a couple of weeks ago, the night right before we were supposed to go camping. One of the cylinders wasn’t firing. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. While it seemed to improve, it still just didn’t feel quite right, so I took it in. At Friday, 4pm. And they didn’t work on the weekends. I really hope they get some shit checked out and get it back to me today. I’ve been riding my bike to work. While I only live about a half mile from work, it still sucks. I’m a smoker, I’m out of shape, and I am still recovering from having my ACL replaced in my left knee. And the ride to work, slightly uphill, has been made even more enjoyable with heavy winds going in my opposite direction.

 I want my car back.

 Update: I got it back yesterday evening, right before I had to go to work. Turned out to be a small hole on an intake connector tube, causing a vacuum leak. So happy it wasn’t anything major. Now, I’m just waiting for Thursday so I can go camping again.

Every team I have hoped would win this year has KICKED ass and then SUCKED ass in the Playoffs. The Detroit Red Wings. The Detroit Pistons. I think for the remainder of the year I should just hope that The Detroit Tigers suck ass like they usually do, as they are kicking ass for once, and, just like the Red Wings and Pistons all throughout thier respective seasons, hold the Top Spot of the League. Really, I seriously think that hoping they totally blow just as they have done for the past decade and a half, I might just get something out of this (like the impossibility of a World Series championship…..or maybe even just a playoff appearance).

 I HOPE THE DETROIT TIGERS SUCK MAJOR ASS LIKE USUAL!

(not really, i’m a dedicated lifetime fan….and that holds true for the Lions as well)

I’ve watched a lot of movies lately, and have given my reviews on all of them over at Bite Me: The Chads Movie reviews. You should go read them and tell me what you think.

Now, onto the rest. How great is that new show on TNT: Saved? I’ll tell you awsome……Fucking Kickass awesome! Very first show, and the guy’s already getting laid in the back of an ambulance with his exgirlfriend who’s about to move-in with her new boyfriend.

Why is it the only way I see the seperation between red and blue politics (besides the obvious points) on the Daily Show and Colbert Report is to inebriated in some fashion? I watch it totally sober and it just doesn’t always make total sense to me. That may relate to my upbringing: Christian Republican living in the sticks. You dont get much more right right side of the woods than that.
