Sorry I haven’t been around. I dont have the greatest internet access at my parents place, plus,, as I forgot, I put a block on their IP address for this site a long time ago, so I was not even able to access this place all week (until I remembered proxy servers). Anyways, I’m still on vacation. I got here last Thursday, and it’s been a pretty nice week.
I spent the first few days build some stuff with my dad for my mom. We built a pretty big trallace for her flowers out by their garage, and for her mothers day presesnt I built her a nice custom waterfall/fountain type thing. The pics will all be available for all your viewing pleasure in a few days.
Thursday we went down to Detroit to watch the Tigers play the Angels. That was one badass game. The Tigers beat the crap out of the Angels, winning 12-0 thanks to Jeremy Bondermans pitching, and the superb batting of the Detroit Tigers (with 4 HOME RUNS!). Plus, the weather was a solid 90 degrees. Before the game we stopped at The Hockey Town Cafe. Now let me tell ya, that place was freakin sweet. I hope to get the pics from my sister-in-law in a couple days. The only bad part of the day was leaving. It took us over 2 hours to get out of the Detroit Metro area. That sucked.
I’ll be driving up to my brothers place tomorrow and spend a couple days with him and his family, then I’ll be going down to Manistee for Timmy & Des’s for a few days, and then I’ll head back up to My brothers place for a couple more days, and then it’s heading back to good ole Hippietown, OR.
And lets not forget the dogs. They have been unbelievably well behaved. Even for the car ride here, they didn’t bother me at all. It has been great. And it was well worth it, as for the past week they’ve gotten to just run free around my parents huge yard. They love it.

I’M BACK IN THE BIG TEN BABY!
That’s right, I’m somewhere in Iowa.
I couldn’t sleep at all last night for some reason, even though I was up a day and a half. I don’t know, it might have been thanks to the Detroit Pistons embarrasing performance last night.
I might talk about the day more tomorrow, but right now I am damn near dead and really, really, really need sleep.

Alrighty, lets get this party off with a fizzle. Yes, a fizzle.
I got up Monday afternoon at 2pm, finished all my packing and other crap, then went to work at 7pm for a half a shift. I took off as soon as I got out of work at 1:30am.
I finally stopped in some fucked up town in Wyoming around 4pm and got a motel room. I wasn’t all too fond of the room, but, it had a few key points that won me over:
1. They were cheap
2. They had cable, enabling me to watch the Pistons-Bulls Game 5
3. They took dogs
4. They had free WIFI
and that was all I needed.
The bad part? THERES NO FUCKING NEXTEL COVERAGE ANYWHERE NEAR HERE!
I seem to have an attraction for fucked up towns lately, as when I took an exit that said it had a McDonalds, it took me about 10 miles away from the freeway, then, since there were no more signs, I ended up passing the quick way back to the freeway without even knowing. Luckily, after about a mile, I checked the GPS and found my own way back.
Oh, and the dogs? They are actually quite calm while I’m driving. However, the second I start to slow down, they take notice and start to wig out.
Okay, I’ve been awake now for nearly 28 hours, and I’ve driven for 15 of them. I’m gonna finish watching the ball game and go to bed. Check in with ya tomorrow, if I can.

No, I’m not leaving. But some of my Best Friends are.
I spent some more time with those that are leaving this week. Last night we had a get together at one their places, and man was it a fun one. We played a drinking game called kings, and I (well, all of us) went through a shitload of beer in a very, very short amount of time.
Earlier in the week I went out with the other guy whose leaving and we played some pool, had some laughs, and even had an after party with some Wii time.
I’m gonna miss you guys. A Lot.
