So here’s the story. I called Comcast last week to move my service to my new apartment.
They say Saturday. I say great.
Saturday Comes. Saturday Goes. No Comcast.
I call up and bitch, and then get told that the appt wasn’t until next Saturday.
FUCK THAT!
So, I do some yelling and ask for a supervisor. He sets me up with a Monday Morning appt between 8-10 (which I repeatedly said “so, basically 10 oclock right?”, which he did not find amusing). After a bit more bitching, he said he would also waive all the transfer fees, at which time I informed him the last jackass had not even mentioned those fees. For that, I got a month of free HBO.
So, Monday morning comes around after I get out of work at 7:30am after a nice 12 hour shift.
8am. No Comcast. 9am No Comcast.
9:59 - Hello Comcast. Asswipe.
And the thing that makes it sweeter? I was so fucking tired the next night at work, that on my second break (after viewing the Eclipse) I went home and accidentally fell asleep, missing several pages and the end of shift meeting. Yeah, not good.

So, basically, you had an unpleasant experience with Comcast?
I guess that’s one of the perks of going with DirecTV… I set the shit up myself. Unfortunately, I’m a lazy bastard, and the gear sat there for two weeks before I was motivated to install everything.
Yeah, I’m not looking forward to going into work tonight. Apparently I was needed for some pretty important stuff.
On the plus side, I do have tv to watch now.

Anything good an HBO this month?
Comcast is teh suck. I still have retarded advertisements on my menu. They can eat a dick for all I care. I’m calling the satellite dish receiver thingy places this week. I pay over $150 a month for freakin’ cable but they still want to spam me on my menu guide. Piss off.
Dude, I wish I had a dime for every complaint I have ever heard about Comcrap. I dropped all of their services about two years ago and have never looked back. They suck. Just ask anybody…they’ll tell ya.
