World Of Chad

Since I’m bored and this place sucks.

I thought I’d talk about the movies I watched this weekend.

Grind - eh. It started poorly, but the hot girl and the clowns pulled it together in the end. I’m not gonna watch it again though.

Ultraviolet - What a piece of useless crap. Even though it has absolutely no bearing on my feelings towards the movie, I only have one question. Was the movie made to look like a comic book drawing every now and then, or was it just crappy effects? If it was made to look that way, it was very well done. I still hated the movie.

The Perfect Score - Great movie. I loved it. I don’t even care how cheezy it might have been. Anyone that can put Scarlett Johansson in a mini-skirt is A-okay in my book. Oh, and the ending rocked.

Talledega Nights (The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) - Um….funny. I guess. What more can I say?

Spider Man 3 - Could this movie have taken any longer? I was ready for the ending halfway through the movie. Did we really need 3 villians? Why couldn’t we just have 2 and make the story line a lot better and not so rushed? And the whole “EMO” period? Sorry, but just combing your hair like the guys from Fall Out Boy doesn’t exacly cut it.

Saw 3 - Um…damn. Gruesome. Ruthless. At least the first 45 minutes. After that it finally got interesting. I don’t really mind the fucked up ways to kill people, but 45 minutes of nothing but straight up ripping people apart in every way possible isn’t exaclty a good storyline. You wanna kill people in the most horrible ways possible? Fine, just put a little story in the middle instead of just fucking them up one after another. And don’t try to tell me that the cop looking for her old partner was the story, becouse it was just something to grab your attention for a couple minutes while they killed more people. The ending was pretty cool. It was definately a great twist, even though it ended with some unanswered questions (at least for me) and had some lousy cop-outs as far as explaining the previous movies storylines. Gonna wait for #4 on DVD.

Hey The Chad,

I finally got The Boondock Saints on Netflix. You were very right, the movie rocks. I don’t know how I missed it.

Ultraviolet was pretty crappy overall, but there were definitely some cool moments. I just love gratuitous violence in movies.
