No, not really. I just love that episode of South Park.

Anyway, I’m here to talk about Guitar Hero. It’s a cool game. I don’t play, but I have absolutely no problem sitting and watching friends play. You might be wondering why I don’t play, right? Well, it’s for 2 simple reasons. One, I suck. Horribly. And that leads into reason # Two. I’d rather spend the time learning to play a real guitar. But, since I have no desire to do that either, it all comes down the fact that I just don’t feel like playing. But, being the music lover that I am, as I said, I have no problem sitting and watching others play.

And with that lies a problem. The songs. A majority of them suck. I realize that you cant put all the greats onto the same game, or there would be no reason to make any more of them. But come on, half of the songs in GH3 I have never freakin’ heard of. Oh, and that crazy insane bonus song, Through The Fire and The Flames by Dragon Force? Sure, it has insane rips.  But couldn’t they find a better, cooler (SHORTER), possibly even more popular song to use?

I must have heard this song at least 20 times in the past week. Yeah, I’m tired of it. It might not even bother me so much, except for the fact that song is fucking long as hell. Seriously, it is really, really long. And when you’ve got GH3 lovers that want/need to master the song, it takes for freakin’ ever. And that right there is a mixture made for disaster. A super long song, which  kind of sucks, and the need to play it as many times as possible to master it.

I’d rather listen to Free Bird 9,000 times in a row than listen to that damn song once more. Oh, and in case you’re curious about this song I’ve been talking about, here is a video of it in all of it’s insaneness.
