I keep finding new cool stuff crap to do with this phone Helio, it’s just so awesome.

Ok, it’s not that awesome, but it’s still a sweet toy.

Not only did I find a nice & free Turn by Turn gps program (not quite as nice as Google Maps though), I also got Opera Mini browser. And that is nice.

I also saw how seemlessly the software works. The OS is totally smooth and quick, much unlike my Nextel which used motorolas p.o.s. OS. That shit was sloooow. Even all the free 3rd party apps work just as well.

And now that I’ve got the video format figured out (it was 3gp), I’m all good to go mediawise…..except for one teency weency little setback. I failed to realize that when I had the phone Helio plugged into USB, that I still had to either do a “safely remove hardware”, or exit the Sync program on the handset. I only realized this after my brand new 2GB micro-sd card stopped working, and locked up my phone Helio any time I tried to sync it. And then somehow I fried my 1GB card after transferring some music. This time, it locked up when I tried to play music. So, now I need a new flash card.

Other than that, I’m still pretty impressed with it. I can now be like Dave and automatically upload pics to Flickr, which will then automatically post it here.

Wow, this was way shorter than yesterdays post, ey?

P.S. I’m just kidding about the whole phone Helio crap. It makes phone calls. It’s a phone. ONE BADASS PHONE!
