Yes, American Gladiators is back!

It took me a bit to get used to it. I was let down at first, mainly becouse I went into it thinking it was going to be this super awesome badass thing, and quickly realized that it was, well…..American Gladiators. It’s pretty much the exact same show. All new Gladiators, minus Titan (the only original), and the Gladiator women are pretty good looking. I could do without Wolfs howling, but the fact that they dont talk much at all kind of sucks.

My only real letdown was the fact that it wasn’t live. Sorry, but this day in age, for a show like this, shouldn’t it be live? Sure you’ve gotta deal with time constraints and all that, but if they can do it for Idol, why not gladiators? Oh, and the sportscasters? They are really, really annoying. I could do without Hulk Hogan as well, but I’m sure if it weren’t him, they’d find someone else even more annoying. Laila Ali, however, I have absolutely no problem with.

And did anybody else notice that the fire thing in the water was covered underneath by plexiglass?

Oh, and the contestants? All the females are pretty friggin hot.

All in all, it’s not bad. I’m gonna keep watching it. Why?

Because it’s AMERICAN FREAKIN’ GLADIATORS! that’s why!
